The Solar Spirit Project Team plans to develop products, technologies and skills for South Australia to compete in global markets. It's activities encompass initiatives such as;

  • Research and development partnerships with industry to enable production of commercially ready products for the manufacture of the plug-in electric vehicles.
  • Provide engineering students with R & D skills to develop innovative solutions in a world class learning environment and become an asset to any future emplyer.
  • Manufacture the most efficient solar electric vehicle in the 2009 WSC
