The International Event to showcase advances in Solar Electric Vehicle Technology.

The aim of the competition is to build the world's fastest Solar Electric Car.

The focus of our hopes and energies is a new car, "The Solar Spirit of TAFE SA"

The Solar Spirit team is building our third generation solar car.

TAFE SA has a very successful track record in the World Solar Challenge since 2000. With the latest technology available, the Solar Spirit team is building the new entry through student projects integrated with their curriculum work.

To be competitive and build the most efficient solar car in the next WSC, TAFE SA is seeking sponsorship partners to invest in the project. This will enable students to work with the most current components and materials available, maximising their educational outcomes and lifting brand awareness on the world stage for our sponsors.
